Inside this issue you’ll find the latest news from each of our learning rooms across Just Kids. I invite you to click on the room that is relevant to you or read through all of our rooms to learn about more about the amazing learning moments from this term.

We’ve had a very busy term both at JK and “Beyond JK”. This term our children participated in 11 “Beyond JK” experiences. Wow that’s over one excursion a week this term! Where possible we love to create opportunities for our children to go beyond the walls of JK and experience the world in which we live. I have no doubt our team of amazing educators will already be planning more “beyond JK” experiences next term.

Next term we have the Cairns Show July17th – 19th. If you are heading to the show with your family we invite you to visit the Just Kids display in the schools pavilion. Each year we go above and beyond with our displays and this year will be no exception. This year’s display will feature our children in the gardens of JK.
|
Keep an eye on the calendar for “Book Week at JK” 19th – 23rd August. Lots of exciting events throughout the week that puts the spotlight on reading and making language a priority.
|
As we approach the midway point of the year, it’s time to “check in” with our parent community. We would love it if you could take 10 minutes out of your busy day to fill out this survey which will enable us to determine what we’re doing well and where Just Kids can improve. This information and feedback forms part of our Quality Improvement Plan. I thank you in advance for your time and really appreciate your feedback.

Just Kids has only one fee increase annually. This occur in January each year.
